HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF THE SHAKBA INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION

SHAKBA International Association was founded somewhere in September 1985 by the LACO Group composed of young professionals, particularly engineers who came from the Shakba sa Lawasaig   or Mala a Bayabao and other Shakba Advisers or Council of Elders whose expertize were sought for the success of the organization. 

AREA OF COVERAGE 

The SHAKBA International Association covers, but not limited to the Four (4) municipalities in Lanao Del Sur, such as;

    1.    Ramain - Ditsaan

    2.    Bubong

    3.   Buadi-Puso Buntong

    4.    Kapai 

All OFW in the Kingdom who have ancestral relationship to the Shakba sa Lawasaig are accepted as members of the organization.
